there is a charity event in baltimore every year for the ella thompson fund (the community rec director from the center in "the corner"). david simon gets the cast and crew of "the wire" to auction things off for the charity...dinner with dominic west, a non-speaking role on an episode...this year they put a day at the mix for an episode and someone actually paid $3000! i'm surprised, flattered, and a little scared of who is going to be sharing the mix stage with me and my mixer on the most stressful day of each episode...it's not any of you, is it?
